Everything You Need To Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Although we try our best to make sure our candles will burn perfectly beginning to end, everything is handmade and has the chance to have small imperfections. Things like individual wax patterns/formations, slight color differences and off center wicks are all minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the burning of the candle. However if there is any issue with the candles, please contact us within 48 hours so we can troubleshoot and sort it out for you asap!

We abide by the ACCC in regards to Repair/Replace/Refund, but please do keep in mind that these are indeed made by human hands, not factory machines.

We pack every order with utmost care to protect the fragile glassware and wax during transit across Australia. That said, postal journeys can occasionally be rough! If your candle arrives broken or damaged

Please take clear photos of both the damaged item and the external packaging within 48 hours of delivery. Send us a message including the photos of the damage plus your order number to our team and we will ship out a replacement or process a refund as soon as possible.

Before starting our business we knew that sourcing ethically is at the heart of what we want to do. All of our palm wax is purchased exclusively from suppliers who are certified members of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

This ensures our wax is produced responsibly without threatening biodiversity, wildlife habitats (mainly orangutans), or contributing to deforestation. Palm wax is 100% plant-based, biodegradable and sustainable! Which to us as a small Aussie business means we can create fantastic smelling but also uniquely crystalline palm wax candles for hopefully years to come.

To keep your candles looking and smelling magical, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme warmth, or bright artificial lights (which can cause wax to soften or discolour).

Always burn your candle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from breezes, ceiling fans, open windows, pets, and children. Never leave a burning candle unattended!

To ensure your candle lasts as long as possible and burns cleanly from top to bottom:

Trim the wick: Trim your wick to 5mm (about 1/4 inch) before every single light. This controls flame height, prevents mushrooming, and eliminates black smoke.
The First Burn: On your candle’s first burn, allow the melted wax pool to reach all the way to the outer edges of the jar (typically 2 to 3 hours). Wax has a "memory," and this prevents the candle from tunneling down the middle on future lights.
Burn Time: Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame once 1cm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel to prevent the base from overheating.
